I think I've finally got enough of Wittles Cove (formerly Mun's Cafe) mapped out in my head and a little on paper to provide some information, and an explanation of the design sheets I'm posting.

XD I guess I've made it obvious I don't intend to leap right into this, I've tried weekly comics before and you either go in prepared.. or with a lot of loving dedication. I prefer prepared.

Setting:

It's a plot/gag comic. So it's based on humor but it follows a story.

It's a bed and breakfast named 'Wittles Cove' in New Jersey. Kae will own it and employ several other characters there. The rest either visit, live there, or in Timo's case, haunt it.
The Bed and Breakfast includes a public cafe. The Bed and Breakfast itself serves mostly other-worldly critters. The world outside of Wittles Cove is mostly 'normal'.

Eight of the eleven characters are cursed. Some silly, some serious. For instance, Kae is narcoleptic (because I have a bad habit of going afk without any notice). Cobo is a chronic face-hugger.. because that's what he does.
A serious example is that Rid is a werewolf.

Rick is just cursed that he can't find a better place to entertain himself. XD

The setting is probably not a strictly 'furry' world. The characters are drawn furry because that's the way I wanted to do it, it's what I knew I'd enjoy and have an easy time drawing.

I can't say for sure who out of this bunch will show up more than another. I like them all and I'd like to make sure they all make regular appearances. It's a huge cast.. given the kind of comic it is. And there's one whose ref sheet is still in the works.

Will there be guest characters?

Yes. Probably on a regular basis. There probably won't be design sheets for all of them though. And if there are they won't be as thorough as the one's I've already posted.

Can I be a guest character?

Sorry! I'm not making any promises. I can't garuntee I'll keep promises.

You're not going to draw like this forever are you?

XD No, I know there's a lot of it right now. But my style isn't going to change. I fully intend to keep drawing Cara and the others in my existing style because I -enjoy- it. Hopefully Wittles Cove will help me get a better grip on pacing, expression and just add a little life to my art. I need to practice. So don't fret, Cara, Gale and Shy-dog will continue to appear as they are.

I'm not hosting it on my server because I know sometime within the next year I will most likely switch webhosts. I would like Wittles Cove to be on a steady server until I know exactly where -I'm- going to be hosted. My personal website will continue to be other-worldly.com.
In the meantime, you can check that URL for updates, assuming I don't just post them in my gallery.

When it will start posting:

Before I start posting the comic I'm going to make sure I finish at least 20 (preferably 50) strips in advance. That way it would take some serious procrastination on my side to fall behind. So it could be another month or two before it even goes up.

Why I picked the characters I did.

I've noticed some folks are a little down that I didn't choose them as a character. I can't really fix that, but I will try to explain why I picked the above characters.

Most of these people are people I know pretty well, and given that this comic is not so much scripted by myself as our daily actions and collective sense of humor, I wanted to pick people I feel sure will never be offended by the comic or ask to be removed from it without good reason.
I won't be attempting to make any funds off this comic. It's strictly for fun and practice.
