I read Batman: The Chalice earlier today, and was deeply impressed by John Van Fleet's work. Which inspired this. It started as a quick doodle because I wanted to draw Hellboy, XD then I just started practicing. There's plenty wrong with it, and I'm not too happy with Batman's head/Hellboy's coat, but I'm proud of myself! Because for once, I tried a new idea (for me), instead of tucking tail and waddling off whimpering like a slapped puppy.
In this case, the background. Just went with the first thing that popped into mind. Which I just.. never do. Ever. I always get intimidated and try something else. Hellboy created by Mike Mignola Batman created by Bob Kane. |
