More owed art, this one I promised Misty's player quite a while ago. XD Who has been very patient.
This is Misty Mouse, a player in my Furcadia guild Draygans Hollow, I really like this character. She's two foot tall, nimble as a field mouse (har har), and either mob boss or surrogate mother to most of our guild's population. If you ever need a listening ear, Misty is it. (She's also our local wikipedia of events).
For the record, she is in fact missing her tail. Misty no longer has one. (And this picture was influenced by Mrs Brisby, as if you can't tell).
Misty M Mouse belongs to Roderic Taylor.
Most of the villagers would probably claim she belongs to them, too. XD We love our Misty.
this reminds me that I desperatly need to pop back into DH again! ToT I haven't been on furcadia at all in forevers ToT
But that's awesome!!

Ohhhhhhhhhhh! Ash, I'm just floored. Of course I saw the sketch, but I had no idea it would look so awesome when you colored it. It's just unbelievable.
Where to start. I'm probably going to end up repeating everything I've told you about the sketch but anyway. . .
I love what you did with her paws. They really do look like a cross between paws and hands/feet. Misty excels at climbing, able to run up a tree or a nearly sheer wall, and you could almost believe it from this picture.
Her general build is perfect. When you mentioned Mrs. Brisby, I was concerned she might be overly round or portly, but this looks like a small limber mouse who could maneuver her way around tight spaces or be champion limbo player.
The choice of pose is wonderful. For those who don't know, one of Misty's few vices is an addiction to tea, and she's perpetually offering it to any and all that see her in the library or come to visit her in her home. She congenitally friendly, and the expression and pose in the picture is just so much her. You've also somehow managed to capture the sense she's just a little older, a more motherly character. It just looks like Misty!
The colors are pretty, especially her blue eyes and the yellow dress. For those that don't know, Misty loves yellow.
It's fantastic that while an anthro, Misty looks about as mouse-like as you could have drawn her. I like the shock of hair on her head (not a human mane, just enough to show she's an anthro), her mousy head and the shape of her jaw, her big ears, and I've already raved about her paws. Oh and the whiskers, I love the whiskers (they're fully operational, she uses them to detect faint air currents making it difficult to sneak up on her).
I suppose I'm suppoosed to add something constructively critical, but I'm not sure what I could say. Maybe someone who's an artist can come up with something. It's absolutely wonderful.
Thank you so much, Ash!
